Company culture
I believe that at the end of the day, we are just people talking to each other. So, in a business, it's absolutely crucial that everyone feels heard, valued and appreciated. Part of that is communicating to the employees that the company culture you work in values these principles.
As a designer, I thought I'd add a bit of fun to that by creating Zoom backgrounds and posting them on the general slack channel for the company for others to use. It might feel trivial, but this simple act was received very well, and soon employees started waiting for the next background I was going to post, which was a lot of fun.
The idea is simple: Look for events, occasions, cultural celebrations, or anything that feels like a good theme, and create a simple image based on the company's logo below. Here are a few examples, enjoy.
